Your Role and Responsibilities

**The Role**
As our new Oracle HCM Cloud Data Migration Consultant, you will have worked on multiple end-to-end data migration cycles of the key modules of HCM Cloud and be familiar with standard Oracle data migration tools such as HCM Data Loader (HDL), Payroll Batch Loader (PBL), PL/SQL, ODI, OTBI/BIP Reports.

You will have experience of extracting data from Oracle EBS and migrating to Oracle HCM Cloud. You will have a good understanding of extracting data from legacy systems using PL/SQL, leveraging ODI for data transformation, and loading data using the Oracle delivered loading tools. You should be able to also work on OTBI/BIP reports to help the reconciliation process. You should have good experience in data extraction, loading, troubleshooting issues and delivering reconciliation related activities.

The role also requires management of resources needed for data migration to avoid bottlenecks and conflicting demands alongside the preparation of data migration plans including migration risk, milestones, quality, and business sign-off details.

Your primary responsibilities include:

- ** Data Migration - build and test **:Build and test data migration elements (extract, transform and load) to deliver the Plan
- ** Continuous Improvement and Problem-Solving**:Work within a continuous improvement framework, challenging ideas and finding solutions to problems. You will be able to demonstrate a logical and pragmatic approach to data migration with the ability to adapt to meet the delivery needs. You will be able to demonstrate you have experience of data reconciliation and reconciling migrated data with Oracle HCM data structures alongside excellent inter-personal, analytical and communication skills.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience of leading the data migration team at multiple previous Oracle Cloud implementations including migrating data from Oracle EBS to Oracle HCM Cloud
- Extensive knowledge of extracting data from legacy systems using PL/SQL, leveraging ODI for data transformation, and loading data using the Oracle delivered loading tools.
- Ability to also work on OTBI/BIP reports to help the reconciliation process.
- Experience in data extraction, loading, troubleshooting issues and delivering reconciliation related activities.
- The ability to identify and pro-actively manage important risks, issues and problems effectively.
