Agincare is a family-owned, nationwide care group with its headquarters near Weymouth, Dorset. We are seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant to join our in-house, office based, Payroll team of seven, which manages payroll for a workforce of almost 4,000 employees across multiple business units; including 30 care homes, over 40 branches and 44 different legal entities.

As Payroll Assistant, you will become an integral part of our payroll department, verifying timekeeping records, ensuring accurate processing of salary, overtime, holiday and expense payments, HMRC reporting and Pension reporting & compliance. You will also work closely with the HR and recruitment team as well as providing accurate and timely payroll information to the management accountants.
- Previous experience in payroll processing is a prerequisite
- Preferably across a multi-entity group and ideally in the healthcare sector
- You’ll need strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Familiarity with payroll software and timekeeping systems, ideally Iris Payrite
- An accounting or payroll qualification is desirable
