**Payroll Officer**

**Hours**: Permanent Contract, full time and part time hours available.

**About the Role**

The role of Payroll Assistant is to ensure the processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls, in a timely and consistent manner We welcome applicants wishing to work full time or part time. Working as part of the payroll team;
**You will primarily**
- Using SAGE payroll to process starters, leavers and update any changes required.
- Processing sickness information ensure details are logged and pay is correct.
- Extract data from payroll to provide reports to the wider business as required.
- Processing RTI and pensions information.

**As well as**:

- Assisting with processing queries and setting up payments of beneficiaries
- Ensuring the time and attendance system is checked and correct.
- Processing the mileage and importing the files to sage
- Liaise with other internal teams regularly and professionally at all times.

**You will be**:

- Ideally have experience on a fast paced, busy payroll department
- Experience in sage
- Flexible in your approach to work
- A willingness to improve processes.
