We have a fantastic opportunity to join Sovereign as our **Employee Experience Lead**. You'll be responsible for reviewing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, supporting a consistent experience that engenders a culture of trust and supports positive engagement. You'll lead the way to understand the touchpoints for our people and develop and deliver our Employee Experience strategy.

Based from our head office in Basingstoke, you'll combine home and office working to ensure a positive work / life balance. There may be occasional travel to our other offices for meetings or workshops.

**The role**

You'll work across the business and the wider People team to understand the employee experience and what would make Sovereign a great place to work for different groups. Working closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience, you will develop and deliver the Employee Experience Strategy, as well as measuring and monitoring its success.

Responsibilities include:

- Working across the business to understand the current employee experience, mapping out the current employee lifecycle
- Developing the Employee Experience Strategy, ensuring the Business buy into it and any relevant funding is acquired
- Looking out to the market to understand innovative, flexible and personalised approaches to Employee experience
- Collaborating with the wider People team across Talent Acquisition, People Development, Business Partnering and Reward, to identify any inter-dependencies
- Build out the Employee Experience strategy into a robust plan for delivery, building out content and working with Internal Communications to ensure any new employee engagement interventions are effectively communicated
- Ensuring a robust and intuitive survey mechanism is in place to measure engagement and progress against the strategy, drawing insights from the data to support continuous improvement

**What we're looking for**

You should have proven experience working across or within the Employee Experience lifecycle, with previous experience developing and delivering an Employee Experience strategy. You'll also have:

- A deep understanding of the employee lifecycle and connections to employee experience
- Knowledge across a broad range of people areas such as reward, talent acquisition, business partnering and EDI, and how these link to employee experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- An innovative and forward-thinking mindset, with creativity skills to be able to build and deliver employee experience interventions
- Proactive and proven Stakeholder management skills across all levels
- In depth understanding of the role of technology in driving positive Employee Experience
