At Coveris Louth we print packaging and labels for well-known brands on film produced by our own blown film extruders.

JOB SPECIFICATION

We are currently recruiting for a Print Assistant. Our Print department is an EFIA award winner, gaining us much deserved recognition for the quality of our products. We use sophisticated Comexi Printers, that complete both surface and reverse printing using both 8 and 10 colour print ways.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES

Assist the department and printers in setting up jobs on the machine, carrying out quality checks and changing reels

You will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern which involves, 2 x 6am to 6pm (Days) then 2 x 6pm to 6am (Nights) followed by 4 days off.

You will be learning all aspects of the printing and pre-press processes

Excellent communication skills to be able to ask lots of questions and keep yourself busy

Competent in English and Maths at a reasonable level.
