**Sales Advisor - Farm Shop**
- **Contract**: Permanent, full-time
- **Hours**: Monday to Friday (8.30am-5.10pm or 9.30am-6.10pm) with a contracted day off each week, plus working alternate weekends.
- **Salary**: £21,236 to £25,346 (depending on experience)
- **Location**: Esher, Surrey

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Advisor to join the Farm Shop team at our Garden Centre in Esher. The role will include **Deli**, **Chilled Food**, **Bakery** and **Frozen** departments.

We are seeking an individual who can deliver a first-class customer experience through sharing their own genuine passion for food to maximise sales.

**The responsibilities of the role are to**:

- Provide our customers with an exceptional level of service by assisting them in selecting products, answering questions, providing recommendations and samples.
- Ensure Garsons merchandising and housekeeping standards of the department are maintained.
- Ensure displays are innovative, practical and maintained, and that these are refreshed on a regular basis.
- Adhere to food safety practices and procedures, maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment at all times.
- Operate deli and bakery equipment, such as slicer, oven etc.
- Order product using our retail management system.
- Communicate effectively at all levels.
- Carry out everyday duties such as advising customers; stock replenishment; stock taking; stock rotation; maintaining records; lifting and moving stock.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
- A genuine passion for food and a keen eye for detail.
- Previous experience within a retail or culinary environment.
- Competence and confidence to work with computers.
- Previous experience in a team supervision / management role.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to work on their own initiative.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,236.00-£25,346.00 per year
