Security Officer

Experienced Security Officer required to work in a industrial site

**48 to 60 hours a week, 11 hour shifts.**

**1900 - 0600 hours - Night shifts including weekends.**

**The role**

We currently have a great opportunity to join a new team as a Security Officer at our client site in Felixstowe, Suffolk. If you are a talented and ambitious individual looking for your next opportunity in security, then we would love to hear from you.

**Role requirements**:

- Must hold a valid SIA Frontline Licence.
- Suitable experience
- 5 year checkable work/career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standard BS7858

**Duties include**:

- Carry out all required duties as specified in the assignment instructions for the site
- Be a highly visible and proactive security presence
- Conduct regular Health and Safety patrols, report and escalate any issues found
- Ensure all exit and evacuation points are kept clear at all times
- Monitoring the sites CCTV
- Opening the locked gates for haulage drivers
- Handing out paperwork when required

**Desirable skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Operate with a high level of professionalism
- First class approach to delivering a customer focused service
- Effective report writing skills, for logging incidents in daily occurrence books
- First aid certificate
- H&S qualifications
- Good PC Skills (MS Office)
