**What You Will Do as a Control Room Operator**

If you are someone who wants to use your technology skills, has an interest in CCTV and operations controlling, and knowledge of current affairs in an exciting security operation centre and can prioritise tasks, engage and coordinate with others whilst identifying threats and risks in a fast-paced environment, then this could be the role for you

**Main Responsibilities**
- Consolidated event security management utilising temporary systems in conjunction with the Advisory Services (basically management of the towers and their capability for commonwealth games)
- Monitoring remotely CCTV - Different standards or types of systems with varied. (PTZ /static/Video Analytics)
- Instant Emergency Messaging - Tracktik system has the capability to send out instant messaging with an alarm to ensure the message can reach all of our teams where tracktik is in place on contracts. Helpful for terrorist incident as an example, quick and effective.
- Panic Button response and escalation - alarm sounds if officer lays flat on ground (suspected heart attack example), officer can initiate panic button their end and provoke escalations
- Report writing - In depth reports for internal and external purposes to help prepare clients for future incidents, measure response and capture detail for legal purposes
- Absence/Escalations/Attendance monitoring - If staff fail to attend a shift the OSC will manage the resource via escalate/try to backfill/contact a partner.
- Scheduling support - assign/movements. General support for sites scheduling.

- Competent user of Microsoft Power BI
