You will be responsible for conducting machine inspections in compliance with ATEX regulations, managing technical files, and ensuring the smooth operation of our quality control systems. Quality Control Engineer
Salary Package / Benefits:
* Good Basic Starting Salary (DOE)
* Guaranteed cost of living bonus of £1000 paid monthly over 12 months
* Guaranteed £1000 paid monthly over 12 months
* Guaranteed 10% monthly bonus
* Generous Annual Bonus typically paid out between 45%-75%
Quality Control Engineer
Essential Skills / Experience:
* A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in quality control or a similar role.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present reports clearly.
* Hands-on experience with root cause analysis and an understanding of quality management systems would be beneficial
* Willingness to learn and obtain qualifications in internal auditing.
Quality Control Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform qualitative and quantitative inspections of raw materials, components, and machine assemblies in compliance with ATEX standards.
* Conduct final inspection testing, such as leak and continuity tests, to ensure all products meet our rigorous standards before sign-off.
* Participate in internal ISO audits and assist with vendor assessments for new suppliers.
* Manage non-conformance reports and execute root cause analyses using methods such as fishbone diagrams and the 5 Whys.
* Ensure all customer and supplier quality documentation, including Certificates of Conformity and
* Test Certificates, are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams during production and QC meetings to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
