**Head of Technology/ Head of IT - Global Media, PR & Consultancy (Hybrid Working)**

We are a global Media, PR & Consulting group with operations in 14 Countries employing around 400 people worldwide.

**The role**

We're looking to hire a Head of Technology who will be responsible for the management and delivery of strategic technology projects across the entire group. This role is ideal for a hands-on Leader who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working with the teamto achieve goals and deadlines, eliminate security risks and increase the operational efficiency within the business.

As Head of Technology, you will be responsible for overseeing the infrastructure of technical operations, tracking the technology itself, in order to achieve goals, meet operational deadlines, increase user satisfaction, maintain operating systems, cyberand data protection. You will be responsible for building a best-in-class technology solution and team across the Group.

**Some of the many responsibilities**:

- Developing and overseeing our infrastructure.
- Architect strategic capacity planning to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Co-ordinate I.T. activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as possible.
- Implementing policies that are agreed by the Board.
- Identifying security vulnerabilities and eliminating them with strategic solutions that are in line with group policy.
- Work alongside the C-Suite to build the annual business plan and operating budget for the department and monitor the implementation of these to ensure that financial targets are met.
- Direct, attend and participate in staff meetings and related activities; attend workshops and seminars to keep abreast of advances in information technologies.
- Manage the relationship between the company and the outsource services responsible for covering the international offices.
- Own, maintain and increase the ISO270001 accreditation across the group.

**Skills & Experiences**
- Several years of experience in a senior capacity within an enterprise level environment, experience with managing technology service offerings
- In depth experience of:
IT Operations, Firewalls, cyber protection, and Data Protection.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Additional education and/or qualifications in information technology, computer science or business, desireable.
- Ability to build & inspire teams

**Our offices are in Central London but we operate in a hybrid working model**

**£85,000 - £100,000 (Dependent on experience) & Annual Bonuses & Excellent Benefits
