Tech Lead – Head of Solutions.

JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Restful API’s, Web Development, Trading Systems, WEB API tool kits, OOP (java, c#, c++)

Perm Roles – Total Comp - £200’000 plus benefits

Harrington Starr is proud to Partner with a Global Leading Financial Technology Vendor that specialise in building innovating apps that is used across the finance and banking trading community to help process trading faster and safely across a range of distributed networks.

The company is a highly innovative organisation with technology as the key driver. They are a multi Technology firm and now they are looking to hire Tech Evangelist – Head of Solutions who will have a Hand on approach to Software Engineering coupled with finance and banking experience.

As the Head of Solutions you will join a highly dynamic team. You will be spearheading a Software Engineering team that build these apps using a range of technologies, experience with Hands on Software Engineering team covering a range of tech from JavaScript and Typescript with RESTful API development. You will have used RESTful API tool kits and have knowledge of some OOP language’s such as C#, Java or C++.

  • Key Skills:Experience as a Head or Team Lead within a Software Engineering Team
  • Experience with Restful API
  • Experience with RESTful API Tool kits
  • Integration Development of Trading systems –
  • OOP (C#, JAVA, C++)
  • Cloud based technologies.
  • Experience and knowledge of Cross Asset classes – Equities, FICC, Futures & Options.
  • Experience with 3rd Party vendor Apps – Sophis, Bloomberg, Murex
  • Experience of Front Office Risk and Algo Trading methods
  • Experience of Pre and Post Trading Services.
  • Strong written and verbal commutation Skills.

We are looking for Tech Evangelist – Lead Solutions Engineer / Head of Solutions that are specialist in Software Engineering. You will be interested in working with a range of technologies but mainly RESTful API and API tool kits. This is a great opportunity to join a Fintech organisation and the best part is, you don’t even need Financial Services experience, we just need you to have a great interest in Technology.
