**NetApp - PS Resident - Hybrid - Central London**

The Consultant will function as the NetApp products Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will interact directly with the customer's personnel. The Consultant will serve as the technical expert on executive-level project teams within the customer providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Deploy and administer NetApp Storage - ONTAP, Troubleshooting Performance Issues, performing firmware and operating system upgrades, using storage management tools - OnCommand Unified Manager/ Performance Manager Insight/Cluster Switch migration and FW upgrade processes and procedures
- Utilize NetApp Storage concepts, related management tools, and related Storage technologies (Snapshots, controller failover, provisioning, deduplication, cloning, SnapMirror) including monitoring and troubleshooting, administration, replication technologies
- Utilize understanding of Storage protocols and technologies (CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel switching and networks)
- Manage Windows server and related Microsoft technologies including monitoring, troubleshooting and administration
- Build and migrate software and services across the organization
- Drive projects alongside our SMEs to solve complex problems for our most strategic customers
- Take responsibility for the delivery of projects within the constraints of schedule, scope, features/functionality, and budget
- Monitor and report on all aspects of your projects including progress, project profitability, forecasted hours, risks, communications and customer concerns
- Work with the Resource Managers to ensure that your projects have the best people with the right skills and at the right time.
- Contribute to and lead the development and maintenance of NetApp PMO standards, processes, and practices
- Maintain a high-level technical knowledge of the NetApp software stack. (Full training and enablement provided)

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Very Strong ONTAP skills, covering all functionality.
- Strong NAS skills in both Windows and LINUX/UNIX environments in particular.
- Strong Networking skills
- Strong General Datacentre infrastructure skills
- Beneficial skills to have:

- CVO in Azure
- Cloud Insight
- Experience of other large financial organisations beneficial
- Strong understanding of Storage protocols and technologies (CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel switching and networks)
- Strong customer communication and documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Demos & Presentations
- Ability to implement Best Practices with Enterprise Customer
- Experience in customer facing, problem solving positions
- Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- NetApp Certifications (NCIE) preferred
- Expected to be inside IR35 and work onsite in London 2-3 days a week
