Engineering Team Leader (Nights) Wisbech

Greencore is a leading producer of convenience foods who supply a wide range of chilled, frozen and ambient foods to all of the UKs food retailers, with everything from cooking sauces and pickles to sandwiches and ready meals. The Wisbech site specificallymanufactures premium chilled ready to cook meals for major some of the biggest UK retailers and are now in a position to take on an Engineering Team Leader to join their established engineering team.
**Your new role**
As an Engineering Team Leader, you will be required to lead an engineering team creating a motivated, engaged and supported environment to develop the team, and ensure their maximum potential is reached whilst adhering to good manufacturing practices. You willbe responsible for planning and prioritising the shift workload of the team, and executing the planned preventative maintenance schedule to ensure production targets are achieved by maximising machinery up time and minimising breakdowns/disruption. In addition,you will be required to ensure a safe working environment at all times in terms plant, equipment and staff.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will hold a time served accredited apprenticeship or an engineering specific qualification at Level 3 or above and have sound knowledge in both electrical and mechanical fault finding and the maintenance of engineering systems within a manufacturing environment.Previous experience leading a team in a supervisory role in particular in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment is desirable.
