Our major project portfolio is growing significantly. This is an exciting time to be part of STRI Group and this role provides the opportunity to be involved in work that will shape the delivery of elite level sport globally. Working with our group Technical Director, Development Director and Head of Design & Engineering, the role will be key in coordinating and managing the delivery of design projects and in organising resources for major project delivery. The role requires a highly motivated, intuitive and organised person. The geographic reach of our projects means that a flexible approach to working will be required on occasion.
You will co-ordinate the non-technical delivery of our major projects, therefore communication with both internal consultants and external clients is key. Excellent oral and written communication, organisation, and reliability are essential qualities required to fulfil the role. The role requires a dynamic, creative and positive individual, who is personable, professional, meticulous and driven.
**Job purpose**
- As a Project Co-ordinator you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of our design packages in line with project programme and budget. You will have significant levels of interaction with both internal colleagues and clients regarding the requirements and obligations of our projects.
- The Project Co-ordinator plays a crucial role in the successful execution of our major projects from conception to completion. The role requires collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- The Project Co-ordinator, ensures the highest standard of coordination, communication and project delivery from our design and consultancy services
- The role will support consultancy staff in all non-technical aspects of project delivery
- The role will work alongside our team of consultants to ensure the cost effective, efficient, and profitable delivery of their services.
**Skills required for outstanding performance**
- Proven track record in the coordination of multiple demanding design projects simultaneously
- Understanding of the RIBA project delivery structure
- Professional outlook with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent networking skills.
- Excellent organisation and delegation skills
- Ability to work autonomously, managing own time and using initiative to solve problems
- A well organised and methodical approach
- PC literate to include a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, design packages / project management software an advantage
**Job type**:
Full-time, permanent
**Salary**: dependent on experience
