Beith Community Development Trust is seeking customer focused facilities assistants, specialising in events to join our team at Geilsland Enterprise. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth operation of our enterprise activities at Geilsland Estate and Beith Astro. **Major Tasks and Job Activities**

Under the overall direction of the Facility Lead & The Geilsland Enterprise Operations Coordinator.

**Resources**
- Promote and ensure the health and safety of staff & visitors [in accordance with appropriate health & safety legislation] at all times.
- Create and maintain an orderly and productive working environment

**Organisation**
- Porter duties e.g., moving furniture and equipment, dealing with deliveries of goods.
- Set up and clear furniture and equipment as required for events, meetings, concerts, etc.
- Liaise with team lead and attend meetings as required.
- Support events hosted across our facilities, ensuring customer service focus, main point of contact throughout events.

**General Responsibilities**
- Comply with health and safety policies, legislation and procedures at all time.
- Promote and ensure the health and safety of staff and visitors at all times.
- Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security and confidentiality, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
- Contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of the Trust.
- Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
- Treat all users of the Trust with courtesy and consideration.
- Present a positive personal image, contributing to a welcoming environment, which supports equal opportunities.

**Other**
- To undertake other duties as required by the Facilities Team Leader and that are commensurate with the grade and purpose of the job.

**Essential skills, experience and qualifications**

No experience or qualifications necessary.

Good communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude.

Excellent customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team to solve problems.

IT skills preferred but not essential.

Must be flexible and able to work shifts to cover events, weekdays, evenings and weekends.
