New Experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk Job Near Wimbledon
**Your new company**
Your new company is an expanding retailer that is looking for a purchase ledger clerk to join their expanding team. The company has grown quickly due to acquiring new business which has meant that a new job has been created in one of their purchase ledger teams.
**Your new role**In your new job, you will be responsible for:

- Indexing of invoices, credit notes and credit claims
- Inputting of invoices
- Inputting of credit notes
- Matching of invoices including credit claims process
- Liaise with Trading teams to resolve queries promptly and efficiently
- Liaise with Supplier Income Administrator to resolve any supplier claim queries
- Prepare and process payment run as per finance calendar on a rota basis
- Produce and distribute weekly and fortnightly reports on a rota basis
- Carry out supplier reconciliations and ensure they are performed within the set
- deadlines
- Ensure transactions recorded on the system are properly authorised and coded
- Administration of debit balances on ledger, escalate as appropriate
- Responsible for own filing

**What you'll need to succeed**In order to succeed in this job, you will need:

- Finance experience in a retail company is desired but not essential.
- High volumes of invoice processing
- Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable experience
