**Overview**
2fawcett are recruiting for a Transport Planner to join a company located in Lincoln on a full time, permanent basis.
**Role & Responsibilities of the Transport Planner**
Provide key support to the Traffic Manager in effectively planning routes.
Cost effective route and load planning vehicles
Planning of material movements between subcontractors
Communicates progress to internal and external customers
Identification and utilisation of Transport resources to ensure products are in required location on time.
Creation and issue of the load list to the Goods Movement Team
Creation of the despatch manifest
Providing eta’s and pods where required
**Requirements of the Transport Planner**
2 Year experience in a Transport related role
A positive can do attitude
IT literate (MS Office + ERP)
Able to work on own initiative with minimum of supervision
Good communication skills
Numerate and Literate
Attention to detail
Well organised approach
