Llandrindod Wells, United Kingdom Severn Wye Energy Agency Full time

**As Project Support Officer you will be working within a team dedicated to tackling issues affecting businesses and communities across Wales, while addressing our short term and long-term energy needs**

We are in a perfect storm of increasing fuel costs, rising inflation and changes in our climate. More and more communities and businesses are increasingly looking for help and support to reduce energy consumption and to meet the challenge of net-zero. As such, there has never been a better time to make a difference by joining Severn Wye. As our Non-Domestic Project Support Officer, you will be an active member of a team responsible for initiating and supporting ‘non-domestic retrofit programmes’: ‘non-domestic energy assessment and management services’: ‘Net zero consultancy’.

Severn Wye is looking for a dynamic and talented Project Support Officer Manager who would relish the opportunity to work within an energetic team supporting the delivery of programmes, projects, and services across Wales. You will work closely with our Energy Services Team for Wales to ensure projects are successfully delivered to a high standard. As Project Support officer, you will be responsible for administration, organisation, and exceptional customer support to enable the operational delivery of our programmes. It is a diverse role and requires a dynamic, enthusiastic, and optimistic person whose personality can motivate others around them to provide a joyful working team dynamic.

In return for your skills and hard work we offer a competitive salary, appropriate training, a company pension scheme, sickness protection and life assurance. We also offer the opportunity for hybrid working.

If you want to make a difference to businesses, community buildings and communities across Wales and contribute to net zero initiatives, through ensuring the successful and high-quality delivery of our programmes, projects and services, then we encourage you apply.

As Project Support Officer you will be working within a team dedicated to tackling issues affecting businesses and communities across Wales, while addressing our short term and long-term energy needs

**Why you’ll enjoy working with us**

Ok, we know that other sectors often pay a little more, but we are confident that there is much more to working at Severn Wye that will make this a rewarding role to have.

We all have bills to pay, and we offer salaries comparable with other organisations in the non-profit sector. But there is more to some jobs than money. We love what we do. Our staff enjoy the relaxed and supportive work environment, and having colleagues who are knowledgeable, generous, and committed to making a difference. Our flexible working arrangements are designed to accommodate the work/life balance our people need depending on where they are in their life and career, which means we benefit from the experience and enthusiasm of employees of all ages and backgrounds.

We’ll provide the training you need to help you grow in your role and get to grips with the energy landscape. You’ll start on 24 days, increasing to 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and have excellent support for the future such as Group Life Assurance and company pension scheme with employer contributions of 7% when you put in 5% or more. We get together regularly for social events and look after you outside work hours.

If this sounds like an environment in which you’d thrive, we’d love to hear from you.
