This full-time role is an opportunity to join an expanding part of this club. You will be leading the merchandising operation across our 5 physical stores and our online store. Focusing on stock control, driving sales and profit through effective stock management and sales.

**Position**:
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the heads of retail in budgetary requirements and sales forecasting.
- Working closely with the heads of retail to build the best commercial range, ensuring That correct stock quantities are bought to maintain the buying margin and gross profit margin to maximise profitability.
- Owns and plans the store range plans, looks at driving activity through products, launches and relevant seasonal events. Works closely with Ecommerce manager and communicates this throughout business.
- Accountability for product availability and launch performance. Working with suppliers to ensure stock is here on time.
- Manage end to end stock turn and exit plans for stock and to protect profit margins.
- Working closely with head of retail to create and forecast regularly.
- Reporting on sales and stock performance to achieve monthly and yearly targets.
- Performing detailed analysis and reporting at yearly, seasonal, weekly level by department, category line, identifying sales patterns and potential trading opportunities.
- Arrange and conduct store visits in line with required frequency to monitor stock levels, option plan depth and any improvements that can be made. - Propose and cost markdown events and promotional activity.

**Requirements**:
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience in merchandising or on a similar role.
- Knowledgeable of analytical tools for performance measurement to determine improvements and innovations.
- Knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment.
- Excellent ability to analyse data and propose commercial objectives.
- Data analysis.
- Advanced excel knowledge with a high-level proficiency with all Microsoft office programs.
- Resourcefulness
- Communication skills
- Analytical - Working knowledge of commercial budgeting wssi management, range planning, trading, stock intake, allocation and replenishment.
- An interest in sports and entertainment (not essential)

**Other information**:
Location: This role is based at the London Stadium and we currently operate hybrid working enabling some working from home.
