**Group Sales and Marketing Director - Lancashire - £80,000 - Retail**

The Group Sales and Marketing Director would be entering the organisation at the beginning of a dynamic phaseof expansion, which is a great time to make your mark on the business - improving brand awareness, taking a significant part in the group's digital transformation initiative, and crafting the marketing strategy of the organisation.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Managing the customer service, marketing, trade sales, and group sales teams
- Ownership of the sales and marketing strategy, including development and implementation
- Management of the Group's marketing budget and execution of marketing initiatives to maximise ROI
- Create and oversee the marketing strategy, the yearly marketing plan, and the customer communications plan
- Building meaningful mission statements for customer-facing brands
- Creating our brand's promise, visual identity, tone of voice, and consistent product
- and service-style
- Be an essential part in boosting our client acquisition
- Expanding the group's digital systems and reach, notably through playing a significant part in the project for the group's digital transformation
- Creating the group's websites, which includes UX, CRO, and SEO tactics
- Managing and expanding the Group's business and sales
- Managing important connections with our organisations and business partners
- Establishing and maintaining critical KPIs for all areas of responsibility
- Taking the lead on the group's PR plan

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Strong sense of initiative and embrace the challenge of multitasking
- Exemplary people management abilities; feel at ease managing a team and working with different departments
- Excellent negotiation and strategic planning abilities, as well as a high aptitude for figures and general business
- Attention to detail and willingness to dive right in - no work is too big or small
- A solid background in sales and marketing, particularly in B2C marketing
- Be well-versed in direct-to-consumer sales and marketing techniques, especially online and offline digital marketing
- Have experience managing the creation of marketing materials such as brochures
- Be skilled at creating content and user experiences for client websites
- Display imagination and creativity
- Current in a Senior Management position and comfortable working at, or towards, Board level
- Able to undertake regular competitor analysis and action insights from this
