Contract Type: Permanent

Employment Location: Bedlington Children Centre, within Locality bases and Home working in a hybrid arrangement

Working Pattern: Full time

Early Help Assessments (EHAs) and Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings are designed to be used by any universal service who come into contact with children, young people and their families. Education settings are a key universal service and so ensuring a robust use of the EHAs and TAFs in education is essential.

This team consists of six Early Help Education Workers who each have their own set of education providers to support. Each worker links with their schools and supports their education colleagues to initiate EHAs and lead TAF meetings. They also work with the Senior Early Help Co-ordinator in the service to support schools to have robust Early Help offers across the continuum of Early Help.

As an Education Early Help Worker you will be key in ensuring that education providers feel confident in addressing students' needs when they are identified. You will work with a wide range of services to achieve this, including Northumberland Inclusive Education Service, The Virtual School, Harrogate and District Foundation Trust 0-19 service, Primary Mental Health Teams, Early Help Family Worker teams and more.
