Magna Groups are a provider of Breakfast, Afterschool and Holiday clubs in various locations around South and West London and Hampshire. Catering for 5 -11 year olds to provide them with a safe and fun environment away from home.

Magna's Ofsted registered Camps and Extended Schools provides children and young people the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of specially designed activities that will truly inspire, captivate and keep them wanting to come back for more.

**Overview**:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Play Workers to join our team.

As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children to learn, play, and grow. This position requires a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with children, leading fun activity sessions, that will **INSPIRE, CAPTIVATE and ENGAGE.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and interact with children during fun, sporty or creative activities.
- Plan and organize age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child.
- Assist with mealtime routines, including serving snacks and cleaning up afterwards
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Collaborate with other staff members, parents and school staff to create a positive and inclusive environment

**Skills**:

- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to drive engagement and participation in activities
- Leadership qualities to effectively manage a group of children
- Proficient in English language

**Education**:

- Paediatric First Aid. (Desirable, although training will be provided)
- Safeguarding knowledge. (Essential)

**Experience**:

- UK based Childcare: 1 years (Desirable)

**Licence/Certification**:

- Enhanced DBS
- Paediatric First Aid Certification
- Safeguarding knowledge

Please be aware an enhanced DBS/documents check will be carried out before any offer of employment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 26.25 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- Childcare/Nursery/Primary School: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
