Media Buyer

**Vision of the role**
As a Media Buyer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimising advertising campaigns across various media channels.
You will conduct market research, source appealing media space and slots, negotiate with advertising sales agents and ensure that the advertising medium and placement reach the desired target audience effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Research and analyse market trends, audience insights, and media channel performance to identify opportunities for effective media campaigns.
- Develop and execute media buying strategies to reach target audiences efficiently, considering budget constraints and campaign objectives.
- Negotiate, purchase, and manage media inventory across multiple platforms, including but not limited to digital, print, social media and podcasting.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure ad creatives align with media placement strategies and resonate with the intended audience.
- Monitor campaign performance, conduct A/B testing, and analyse data to optimize media buying strategies for maximum ROI.
- Maintain relationships with media vendors and partners, negotiate rates, and stay updated on industry trends and new media opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on campaign performance, including insights and recommendations for improvements.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- A creative and strategic mindset, with proven experience as a Media Buyer or in a similar role within the advertising or marketing industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions based on campaign performance metrics.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using media buying software and tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of emerging trends in advertising, digital marketing, and media consumption habits.
- Focused on a solutions-oriented approach to everything you do.
- Passion and creativity, with a real focus on the consumer and solving consumer problems.
**Salary - £25-£30k 35k OTE**
