Nottingham, United Kingdom Everyturn Mental Health Full time

As a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with us, you will be fully supported to develop your clinical skills whilst you study Low Intensity Psychological Interventions.

Youwill spend 1-2 days per week studying at De Montfort University, where you will be taught by experts to deliver evidence based psychological therapies for clients with anxiety and depression. The remaining days will be spent working with our skilled team of clinicians within our service, to develop your new skills and gain experience. During this time, you will deliver low intensity interventions and comprehensive psychological assessments to support our wide range of clients. The course is 12 months and attendance at all University teaching days is compulsory therefore it is essential that you can commit to this.

The course provided by the University is recognised for its high quality and we have a strong track record of successfully supporting our trainees through their studies. You will be guided by our highly knowledgeable and approachable managers. In addition, you will receive support to further develop your skills and career with access to a range of CPD opportunities.

You will be based at one of the following locations: YMCA Newark and Sherwood Community and Activity Village (NG24 4FH), Dukeries Business Centre (S80 2PU) or BizSpace Nottingham (NG1 6EE), or one of our community venues in or around Mansfield & Ashfield, Newark & Sherwood and Bassetlaw.
