Key Task and Responsibilities Being an effective clinical leader and role model, with good delegation and supervisory abilities. Identifying clinical need, prioritising and deploying resources, within budgetary parameters. Being an effective communicator, observer & listener. Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
Ensuring that all organisational policies, procedures and guidelines are adhered to as well as contributing to the development of local, trust, specialist and National policies. Ensuring good teamwork and working relationships with patients, carers, relatives, other professionals and the public. Ensuring that clinical supervision is used to reflect upon and modify own and others practice. Ensuring that own practice and that of junior staff remains within legal, ethical and professional parameters and is open to scrutiny from peers.
Must hold a current, valid first level registration with the Nurses & Midwives Council or equivalent professional body for their discipline. Is working towards attaining the European Computer Driving License qualification, (Module 2)
