We are working for a leading organisation who are seeking a Payroll & Pensions administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
**Role description**:

- Support the Payroll Manager in completion of the monthly payroll process of approximately 1000 employees
- Administer pension documents and electronic systems including auto[1]enrolment submissions
- Check monthly timesheets for accuracy and input into the payroll system
- Prepare payroll reports PAYROLL AND PENSIONS ADMINISTRATOR
- Review and monitor the payment of sickness absence and unpaid leave
- Support the Payroll Manager in the auditing of leavers, starters and contract changes
- Complete pension returns and auto-enrolment submissions
- Recording and monitoring of sickness absence and unpaid leave
- Make suggestions for improvements in system development
- Update information and input staff records
- Be able to interpret data and information, make judgements and make suggestions for improvement
- Strong communication skills
- Strong team player
- Strong organisational skills in order to meet tight deadlines
- Previous experience of running employee payroll including having sound knowledge of statutory payments, deductions, court orders, RTI, and gender pay gap reporting; (desirable)
- Experience with payroll packages (desirable).
- Knowledge of HMRC current legislation regarding NI rates, statutory payments, national minimum wage etc (desirable
