**Permanent**

**Salary up to £29,852 + Excellent Benefits (depending on experience)**

**Location - Hanningfield, Chelmsford**

**About the role**

We’ve a great new role to be our new Facilities Coordinator for our Essex and Suffolk Water sites, providing an excellent Facilities office and maintenance service, working within regulatory and legislative requirements to ensure we provide safe buildings and grounds for all colleagues, contractors and customers.

You’ll be working with our framework contractors and providers to ensure we carry out planned and reactive maintenance and investment to keep our assets in good health and consider the full life cost of all spend.

We’re looking for you to investigate, review and prioritise incoming workflows, along with appropriate actions whilst keeping our customers, stakeholders and systems up to date. You’ll be proactively planning and scheduling contractor maintenance on key assets too.

You’ll be reviewing data and produce monthly reports for leadership teams, so we’re looking for you to be monitoring spend vs contract pricing and budget and highlight exceptions, along with validating contractor payments.

We’re looking for you to carry out and document health and safety inspections/audits, raising (and resolving where appropriate) actions arising, along with raising jobs to framework contractors, producing job packs, including H&S paperwork/permit to work. Carry out and record contractor monitoring visits in line with the control of operational contractors and other companywide SHE procedures.

You’ll be travelling to other sites around the Essex & Suffolk Water operating area to provide facilities support as required, where you will have use of one of the pool cars we have use of.

**About you**

We’re looking for you to have experience of working with contractors and suppliers, balancing cost, efficiency and customer service, along with working with and manipulating data sets. It would be great if you have worked in a similar role working with a help desk.

You’ll be able to change and respond effectively, along with having the ability to be prioritising and balancing workloads. As you’d expect with working with lots of different levels of stakeholders we’re looking for you to have great communication skills, liaising with internal and external customers, contractors and visitors.

We’re looking for you to have really strong computer skills; Word, Excel, Power Point, along with good numeracy skills and good attention to detail, along with experience of reviewing data. It would be great if you had experience of IOSH too.

You’ll need to have a Full UK Licence that enables you to drive manual cars, as the pool cars available are manual gearbox vehicles.
