**Role Summary**:
To implement and manage Quality Management for the business embedding a continuous improvement culture. To work on quality improvement projects that support a quality framework across the business to ensure quality assurance and the integration of contractcompliance with quality assurance measures.

**Highlighted Responsibilities**:

- Implement and manage company’s Quality Management System and Quality Targets
- Manage all elements of quality including, Product, Process, Service and Customer.
- Determine the strategic direction and work priorities for the continuous improvement of the company’s quality management system. Produce the yearly Quality action plan and longer-term Quality roadmap
- Implement, manage, and communicate quality related KPIs, continually reviewing them for ongoing improvement (including Net Promoter Score, Cost of Poor Quality and First Time Right)
- Monitor, audit, and report performance maintaining robust records and reporting frameworks in all areas of quality
- Evaluate and audit sub-contractors, manage, schedule, and conduct internal audits and inspection.
- Manage Quality accreditations and work towards the attainment of new Quality accreditations
- Manage and chair any internal quality meetings, working with other managers in the wider business where necessary
- Instruct and mentor operational teams on various quality and improvement projects to include the development of written guidance and 'standard operating procedures’ to ensure internal ownership, quality improvement and a system of shared learning acrossthe business in line with the strategic business plan.
- Construct and compile critical success factors and key performance indicators relating to the strategic and operational responsibilities of the business.
- Organise and chair forums, focus and quality & assurance groups designed to support internal staff and dealers to include the dissemination and supporting of best practice, and facilitate good communication across the organisation to deliver staff awarenessand education of the quality agenda in line with the priorities of the business in promoting continuous improvement and staff ability to deliver quality services.
- Manage the Non-Compliance (NC) process and ensure NC’s are accurately completed, recorded and updated within agreed timescales and provide NC reports highlighting regular occurrences or high impact with the relevant factory to determine root cause analysisand action to prevent reoccurrences.
- Full responsibility for the ISO9001 accreditation, always ensuring business compliance with the standards.
- Manage and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with both business requirements and the relevant standards.
- Work with IT and other departments to implement a process driven IMS.

**To be considered for this role you will have**:

- Demonstrable working experience in a quality, business improvement or continuous improvement operating area is essential.
- Demonstrable experience of Site inspections and investigations, company preparation for Audits, Compliance and maintenance of relevant standards
- Experience of information provision to tender and submission process would be advantageous but not essential
- Demonstrable experience of non-conformance processes & procedures would be advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge and experience of ISO 9001 standards would be advantageous
- Although not essential a Knowledge of SharePoint to manage the QMS/IMS would be advantageous
