**Background**:Highland Campervans is an established business based on the outskirts of Inverness offering a variety of services to campervan and motorhome owners, both locals and visitors alike. The customer host will be responsible for managing the customers experience when visiting our premises.

**Reporting to the Sales Manager you will**:

- Welcome customers to Highland Campervans, acting as the first point of contact
- Build rapport with face to face customers, gather accurate information to ensure their requirements are met before you introduce them to the right member of the team
- Answer all incoming telephone calls, dealing with the enquiries professionally and manage the customers experience
- Create an information area within the shop/reception area and make sure that literature is available for all areas of the business to provide to customers
- Accept payment of invoices from customers, using accounting software.
- Support the workshop by checking in vehicles and handing vehicles over upon completion of works.
- Liaise and interact with other departments, maintain a good knowledge of what is happening each day to assist customers when they arrive
- Proactively seek feedback and customer reviews
- Work closely with other departments, providing assistance where needed to enable the small team to function well
- Maintain an awareness of vehicles for sale on site and the key features of the different dealership brands
- Ensure the reception area is welcoming and presentable
- Be responsible for the shop stock ordering and stock control, manage stock ordering for general customers
- Proactively identify ways to improve the customer experience when they visit Highland Campervans
- Assist with trade shows and exhibitions

**Desirable Skills**:
Previous experience in a 4 star / 5 star establishment; ability to speak a foreign language/s; Campervan or motorhome experience

**Starting date: ASAP**

**Type of contract**: This is a part-time, job-share position.

**Hours of work**: 25 hrs per week over 3 days (8.30 - 5.15 on a two week rota basis) - job sharing so 6 days are covered

**Salary**: £11 per hour

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
