We are looking for a new member of staff (possibly 2) to join our small team here at our Garden Centre based at Curborough, just outside Lichfield, working in all areas of the Garden Centre. You will need the following:
Essential skills & tasks you will be required to carry out:

- Driving Licence - you may be delivering products using our company vehicle
- Being a team player - we are a team of 3 staff, so working closely together is part of the job
- Confidence in dealing with customers and a good telephone manner
- Use of the till and credit card machine
- Plant & Gardening knowledge - we sell a huge range of plants, and get asked all sorts of questions
- Plant maintenance - watering, pruning, weeding, potting and some groundwork
- Literacy & Numeracy - for checking off deliveries, pricing products & serving at the Cash Desk
- Indoor & Outdoor working will be required in all weathers - hot or cold, wet or dry
- Heavy lifting is also part of the role - carrying compost, gravel, large pots, Christmas Trees etc
- If you have previous Garden Centre or Nursery Experience, we are particularly keen to hear from you.
- A fork lift truck licence would also be desirable, but not essential.

Rate of Pay £12-£12.50 per hour dependant on experience.

Hours to be confirmed, but we are looking for cover Thursday-Sunday, this may be using 2 people part time, or for the right person, 4 days a week. Additional days may become available during the busy summer season, and again in December when we start to sell the Christmas Trees.

This position is for immediate start, and runs up to Christmas.
