**Appointment salary level will be based on the appointee's existing salary within the NHS.**

**Salary for doctors who have not yet completed specialist training will be £32,398 to £63,152 per annum, in accordance with the national salary pay scale.**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Clinical Lecturers to join Norwich Medical School to undertake research within the framework of the School’s research strategy and contribute to the teaching, assessment and module organisation on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, providing supervision to PhD students.

These posts are only open to medically qualified doctors who also have a postgraduate degree, either a PhD or an MD(Res). One post is funded by the NIHR and another is locally funded. You will need to hold an NTN in your specialty and be able to start in post by 20 August 2024 at the latest. For the GP post, this can be post CCT as per NIHR guidance.

You will have the opportunity to develop your research profile which compliments existing research strengths, seeking national and international recognition. You will develop proposals to secure external funding and disseminate results through academic publications and conferences.

These full-time posts are available from 20 August 2024 at the latest on a fixed term of up to 4 years. For the non-GP post, there is the option to use these 4 years post CCT for a maximum of two years.
