Customer Care Team Member

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced, service driven individual to join our busy small animal reception team. This role would suit someone who works well under pressure, can multi-task, has an excellent phone manner and loves going above and beyond when it comes to client service and animal care.

We have one position available that will cover days in the week and of a weekend, some of the shifts will be at our Wells branch

We are inviting applicants who either have previous veterinary experience or relevant customer care experience.

Hours of Work:

- 20hrs over a four day week - must be available for start and end of the day shifts

Saturday/Sunday shifts will be extra hours on a 1 in 9 rota

Saturday only shift will be extra hours on a 1 in 4.5 rota

Main Duties:

- Welcome small animal clients and pets into the surgery
- Process payments/invoices after consultation
- Hand over tablets/medication
- Answer telephone as required
- Book appointments for surgery
- Provide administrative support to the small animal department
- To update and maintain computerised client records
- To maintain waiting room cleanliness and appearance

Skills/Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Good team-working skills
- Attention to detail essential within this role
- Positive attitude

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour
