Our client is a global organization, headquartered in the U.S.A. The company works in multiple industries including pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, food, electronics, and personal homecare.

They are experts in their field and are searching for a Business Development Representative to join their expanding team.

**Business Development Executive**:
**£28000 - £32000 (plus performance related bonus) depending on experience**
- Full time role
- Flexible working hours
- Home based (with the expectation to attend the office occasionally)
- Working with a global team - reporting to Business Development Manager

**Business Development Executive Requirements**:

- Must be able to work on own initiative
- Have a competitive nature and be confident
- Excellent teamwork skills as working with colleagues globally will be essential
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure professional interactions
- Have the ability to use LinkedIn/ Sales Navigator and other platforms to identify and create relationships with key contacts.
- Excellent organization skills and ability to co-ordinate meetings with
- Excellent time management skills in prioritizing daily activities and responsibilities.
- Experience working towards and achieving sales targets
- Experience within a business development/sales environment role essential
- European language speaking is desirable, but not essential

**Business Development Executive Job Duties**:

- Maintain and update customer database, including prospecting and database expansion
- Identify new target contacts, within assigned accounts and assigned industry’s through proactive efforts
- Identifying key contacts within company targets
- Generate new business opportunities, from single 'listings’, to large projects and complete global programs
- Build strong business relationships with new, potential and existing customers
- Qualify in-bound enquiries
- Liaise with senior team members to progress new leads
- Communicate directly with sales management to clearly report ongoing business development leads
- Participate in internal meetings with global team
