The Common Point of Entry/ Gateway is the front door to mental health services across Berkshire. It is a predominately telephone based service offering specialist mental health assessment and signposting to Primary, Secondary, and tertiary based mental health services in Berkshire.

We are primarily based in Wokingham, however, do offer face to assessment and liaise with associated Primary, statutory, and Secondary care services throughout Berkshire.

We operate between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday on a flexible 3 shift basis (8-4pm, 12-8pm and 9-5pm), we offer a mixture of home, Hub and locality working. With support and advice available from an experienced and motivated MDT.

**The 4 “must haves” for you to be considered for this role**:

- Professional based qualification in Nursing, Social Worker or OT.
- Experience in front of house and/or Crisis/HTT/ PMS services.
- Ability to undertake holistic and comprehensive assessments of individuals mental health needs Flexible, motivated and caring attitude to work, service users and colleagues.

We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual with a high standard of knowledge and experience of working with adults who are experiencing a range of mental health presentations. The post holder will be expected to have regular contact with referring professionals as well as service users, families and carers.

The post holder will also be required to support internal relationships across BHFT services. They will have the ability to work well within a team environment and be able to manage and prioritise workload, being able to work on their own initiative with mínimal supervision, to meet deadlines and prevent delays for people accessing services to meet their health needs.
