The post holder will work under the supervision and direction of the eRostering and non-medical eJob Planning Systems Lead to ensure and enable the delivery of a high quality service through effective and efficient non-medical e-Job planning and erostering systems management, together with an effective utilisation/integration of the systems.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual that can work as part of a team and autonomously. You must be able to prioritise your own workload and on occasions may be required to work flexibly to meet deadlines.

You must be knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft office packages.

Working hours are typically Monday to Friday but flexible working requests are welcome. There are 2 posts available: 1 x permanent 37.5 hours per week and 1 x temporary (12 months) 37.5 hours a week

The post will be agile with some cross-site working at any ELHT site.

The post holder will support the trusts eRostering projects and other ad-hoc projects. They will be involved in the day to day maintenance of Healthroster, the publication of marketing and communication material, development of the project intranet content and the provision of general project support to the team. They will also lead on data quality for the team.

The post holder will be working within the eRostering team and will support all related project work. They will be required to work on their own initiative and be flexible in line with the demands and nature of project work. In addition they will need to be an excellent and confident communicator with proven IT skills and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.

The post holder will perform a variety of tasks within erostering systems, including Healthroster, SafeCare, Employee Online, Roster Perform and non-medical eJob planning.

Our Trust aims to provide appropriate, high-quality personal and organisational development interventions, which will improve patient care.
- Management and configuration of Healthroster. Developing marketing and communication material (within a ‘project library’) through various mediums including (but not limited to): - Microsoft SharePoint
- Microsoft Office
- To create regular reporting and forecasting tools direct from the e-Rostering dashboard.
- To manage and prioritise the e-Rostering Inbox and team calendar, ensuring adherence to our Service Level agreements
- To coordinate and maintain the teams Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- To support the eRostering & Non-Medical eJob planning System Leadin the production of regular updates and reports on project progress and input into the development and preparation of project initiation documents and plans
- Answer, manage and prioritise helpdesk calls on behalf of the team. Wherever possible resolve low-level helpdesk calls before escalating to an Erostering Co-ordinator/trainer
- To run the payroll lock down each month and to facilitate units in finalising rosters
- To maintain the team Intranet by uploading news items and documents
- Deal effectively and promptly with incoming enquirers in line with the Data Protection Act
- Provide timely written and verbal responses to ad hoc queries from staff, co-workers and managers
- Participate in the review and audit of the department policy, processes and procedures and comment on changes
- To attend meetings internally and externally and feedback to wider team
- To keep up to date with system updates and developments and the implications for service delivery and to assess and communicate any impact they may have on related projects
- To support the Project Manager in the implementation of additional eRostering modules & systems
- To provide project support on specific elements of the eRostering project where requested e.g. technical issues
- To proactively identify and make an assessment of potential issues and risks and suggest possible solutions to the Project Manager
- To maintain project risk registers and ensure they are monitored and communicated with the Project Manager and project team
- To provide all aspects of project support e.g. administering the Project Board, Team Meetings and the coordination of any associated ad hoc meetings
