Adults Social Care & Health comprises of people with a range of professional specialisms and expertise, including social workers; occupational therapists; contract brokers; staff delivering statutory services; financial and performance analysts.

**About the role**

To Provide expert advice and support to residential care homes and home care providers in Barnet, on helping them comply with regulations, meet essential quality and safety standards, and develop better services, in order to improve the quality of life for people in residential care and those living in their own homes.

Support the residential care and home care settings to comply with requirements under The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010, the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 and the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.

**About you**
- Qualifications in Social Care, Health, Nursing, Care Home management
- Educated to NVQ 3 level or equivalent
- Some experience in social care management, with a specialism in one or more relevant professional fields, such as Registered Care, Home Care, Nursing, OT, Social Work, Telecare, health, and one or more client group: dementia, Learning disabilities, Mental Health, Physical disabilities, Older People.
- Knowledge, experience and understanding of delivering high quality and cost effective services in residential /community care
- Proven competency to handle confidential/sensitive personal information in an appropriate and secure manner in accordance with Data Protection and Caldecott principles.
