**The Role**:
The role will be focussed on adding to and improving the functionality of our ERP system via the creation of new integrations and process changes using the built-in framework. You will create and use various forms of data representation methods including reports, inquiries and dashboards. You will also be responsible for scoping technical requirements for the development of changes to the system and relaying this to our ERP partner.

**A full certified training program is provided.**

As a member of the IT department, you must possess the ability to gather technical and non-technical requirements from other departments and process these logically and programmatically into a form that can then be used for development. You won’t need to have any direct programming skills, but an understanding and experience of systems development from a technical perspective. You will either make the changes to our ERP system yourself or discuss the requirements in technical capacity with others. You will produce technical documentation and provide support to Project Managers.

You will undertake a long-term training programme that will enable you to make changes to the system directly yourself using the built in framework. This is an exciting time for a business that continually invests in technology solutions, so you will be working with one of the latest innovative ERP systems - Acumatica. You will also support the development of other systems such as websites and API’s in a technical capacity.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a good experience enhancing systems and who possesses technical and systems skills. It is a role that will evolve and will expand into opportunities as the business grows.

You must be able to work independently and have a desire in increase your knowledge in an area that is new to you. There will be support in doing this, but you must be initiative-taking and have a drive to learn new things self-sufficiently.

You will be joining a small internal IT team of two which means that you will support the team with other tasks, for example:

- Assist with internal helpdesk tickets
- Conduct ad hoc training with users
- Creating documentation for processes and systems
- Designing reports

You will report to the IT manager but will be expected to often work independently. This is an office-based role with the ability to work from home on occasion.

**Key attributes required**:
**Essential**
- Highly proficient in learning new business software systems
- An understanding of relational database structures, SQL queries and data manipulation (e.g. Excel Pivots and Lookups)
- Comprehensive grasp of a wide variety of business process and departments within a company such as - Finance, bookkeeping, accounting, purchasing, inventory management, sales order processing
- Experience with ERP software

**Desirable**
- 3 years relevant business experience
- Experience in creating reports and graphical representations of data
- Experience of the Acumatica ERP system
- Experience integrating systems
