This is an exciting team for Specialist CAMHS, due to recent investment in our services, we are excited to be expanding the number of Mental Health Assistant Practitioner roles to join our multidisciplinary team.

Suffolk CFYP services are in the process of innovative transformation. We are striving to develop our care model to be more aligned with the needs of the local communities. The Assistant Practitioner will take part in ongoing assessment, they will plan, deliver and evaluate the needs of children, young people and families in concordance with recommended evidence-based interventions.

The role also provides the opportunity to provide therapeutic interventions.

Flexible working hours will be considered.

As a Specialist CAMHS Teams we pride ourselves on working together to deliver high quality care and to support each other through any challenging times.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing a high level of support for children, young people and their families. Therefore, good interpersonal communication and organisational skills are required.

Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate service users’ needs in conjunction with a registered professional is also part of the role.

Able to work independently on own initiative to meet the needs of children, young people and their families.

Being part of the introduction of our new clinical pathways, which will allow us to ensure that the children, young people and families we see can access the very best of evidence-based care and treatment, informed by their psychological and emotional needs.

Being part of a strong multi-disciplinary presence, and a culture of working closely with system partners to provide holistic and joined up care.
