Our Business Support Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship programme offers a great pathway to gain a wealth of new skills and experience. This is an exciting apprenticeship opportunity to join Oxfordshire County Council as an Administrator. You will be working as part of the Children’s Services, who are responsible for Children’s Social Care and Special Educational Needs for the whole of Oxfordshire.

You will receive structured off the job development, supported by workplace learning and mentoring.

After you have successfully completed your Apprenticeship, you will have gained valuable workplace experience and attained a qualification which will improve your chances of moving into a role within the Council or with another employer.

**About you**:
An apprenticeship is a trainee role designed for an individual who has little or no previous work experience. As a trainee member of the team apprentices will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to perform administrative duties to support both the offices and the wider service.

Business Support Apprentices will:

- Learn how to deal with a range of enquiries from the public, colleagues and partner agencies
- Learn about services your team provides and signpost enquiries to appropriate areas
- Learn how to perform general administration duties
- Work towards a formal qualification through achieving set targets
- Training will be delivered in the work-place and dedicated time at one of the Abingdon and Witney Colleges.
