**Maternal Mental Health Service Care Navigator, Band 4**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator/ Care Navigator (part time) to work in a newly commissioned service. The NHS Long Term Plan commitment for perinatal mental health services includes development of Maternal Mental Health Services (MMHS). These services integrate maternity, reproductive health and psychological therapy, offering mental health assessment and intervention for women and birthing people experiencing mental health difficulties arising from, or related to, the maternity experience. Women and birthing people who access this service will include those with experience of PTSD and other moderate to severe mental health problems in the context of perinatal loss.

The post holder will work as the sole Care Navigator within a small psychological therapies team to provide a smooth and efficient secretarial and administrative support function to the Helix Service (MMHS). They will need to demonstrate a high level of prioritising and organisational skills and be able to work independently and in a team.

The Team provides a Monday-Friday, 9.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs service.

**Working hours for this role are;Monday, Tuesday & Friday 9.00-12.30, Wednesday 9.00-5.00 (with 30 mins for lunch) & Thursday 9.00-2.00 (with 30 mins for lunch). Flexible working can be negotiated with a combination of home working and working on site at Queen Mary's Hospital.
