We are looking for a Head of Analytics, are you adept at building and communicating right business intelligence that drives success and business growth, and looking for your next challenge? If so, we want to hear from you The role is reporting to VP, Marketing and will be based in London with 2 direct reports in London & Singapore.

Role purpose:
Key activities:
Vision: Set, and socialise, the analytics’ departmental vision and culture, and champion the use of data in making key business decisions.
Work with stakeholders to define and communicate the business intelligence vision for each function and the overall business.

Leadership:

- Oversee all employee activities across data analytics and data management.
- Develop and coach the analytics team to empower colleagues with market leading thinking and skills.
Develop a training program for improving company-wide departmental heads’ understanding of different types of analytics, how to use them and how to define hypotheses to test, which improves decision-making across the business.

Strategy:

- Work across teams to define the business questions that need to be answered. Define appropriate analytics models needed, in addition to identifying and readying relevant data sources for analysis.
- Define the long
- and short-term roadmap of insight to be delivered.

Operations:

- Drive the performance of analytics solutions and their influence on overall business results while keeping costs in check and ensuring the department remains within the planned budget.
- Manage the short and long-term prioritisation of analytical needs and opportunities & drive the day-to-day analytical approaches and exploring solutions to problems.
- Ensure data capture, monitoring and quality improvement plans are in place to support current and future analytics needs, working with Marketing Operations.
- Define the data requirements, work closely with the Data architect to ensure required data is available and tested and ensure the team understands the data available.

Analytics:

- Lead the analytics and data management departments in the creation of high-quality analyses for all functions of the business, and in the definition of KPIs and metrics that track the business performance.
- Define the layers of analytics and structure of Tableau Server to align to the business strategy, KPI tracking and team workflows. Work with Marketing Operations to define what insight is self-serve in Tableau and what sits in CRM or elsewhere.
- Act as Tableau Server administrator, define and manage the levels of permission.

You will have knowledge of:

- At least 7 years’ experience in a data analyst position
- Educated to degree level plus certified in Tableau Desktop and Server

A proven and successful experience in:

- The execution of data analytics initiatives for growth and efficiency
- Leading an analytics team
- Working with a wide range of data to build descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics
- Configuring and monitoring an installation of Tableau Server for maximum performance

Knowledge & skills:

- Adept at making the complex simple through data visualisation
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Extensive knowledge of Tableau Server & desktop
- Knowledge of how to build, design and leverage semantic layers
- Project management and prioritisation skills
- Skilled in using SFDC, SQL
- Working knowledge of Python and/ or R
- Experience of interacting with Rest APIs
- Questioning skills to define requirements
- Problem-solving
- Advanced Excel skills
- Leadership and coaching skills

Details: Hours 9-5pm. Hybrid working with some time spend in central London office location. (Blackfriars area)
