**Main duties**:
**Provide efficient and effective HR administration and advice in accordance with agreed school, Local Authority and national policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, and maintaining confidentiality and high professional standardsat all times;**

? Advise Director of Finance on all personnel matters, liaising with Strictly Education and other relevant bodies, as appropriate.

? Administer and develop processes for the appointment, employment and payment of all staff;
? Prepare reports/statistics/briefings to meet statutory/management information requirements

? Maintain accurate staff personnel files, records, in line with GDPR legislation

? Maintain, communicate and liaise with a network of contacts, such as, external recruitment agencies, Strictly Education - drawing on support and advice from others to resolve staffing issues

? Meet with staff to perform return to work meetings after sickness/absence

? Monitor staff sickness/absences and discuss any patterns trigger points with the line managers

? Maintain/update the Single Central Record and comply with KCSIE legislation

? Review HR related policies and distribute with staff accordingly

? Monitor the staff absence line and liaise with the Assistant Principal in relation to cover/staffing needs

? Advertise and manage vacancies on job boards, such as Eteach

? Update the staffing, vacancy and policy pages on the College website

? Collate and upload documentation for monthly deadline payroll returns and liaise with Strictly payroll regarding staff queries

? Action staff contracts ready to be issued on first day of employment as per guidance

? Keep staff induction PowerPoint UpToDate with new information/policies and training

? Manage new starter process

? Comply with KCSIE and adhere to the Safer Recruitment process

? To book/manage support staff training

? To understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality at all times

Significant experience of working in an HR role, managing complex HR and staff related matters, Knowledge of employment law, Knowledge of data protection law (GDPR, Data Protection Act 1998 and Data Protection Act 2018) Knowledge of risk and compliance practices.CIPD Level 3 (minimum) qualification

A good standard of ICT skills

A-C GCSE (or equivalent) in English & Maths

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £28,353.00-£29,353.00 per year
