**Job description**

Due to ongoing expansion and a plan for mass growth we are looking for a sales representative (New sales). At Response Logistics we have a tech-focused approach for our purpose of moving freight efficiently throughout the UK & Ireland. We are looking for someone with a strong and proven track record in B2B Sales.

The role will require you to build your own leads via Phone conversations or face to face interactions. You will attend meetings and present response logistics offers and services. You’ll be using a CRM system to log all your activity and information. Weekly sales reports will be carried out to show your progress.

You’ll need to be proactive and consistent in your approach to this role.

**The Package**

**Sales** **Representative Role**:

- follow the sales procedures from lead generation to closing the sale.
- be able to work in Stoke On Trent (head office) and Manchester on a daily basis covering the ST, CW, SK, M postcodes. You may be required to work in other areas where acquisitions or organic launches happen.
- You will be remote/field based and in the office.
- You will manage your own diary/workload and develop your own portfolio of opportunities.
- Achieve new business sales targets by developing relationships with new and ex customers.
- Generate your own leads and opportunities and follow up on any leads and referrals resulting from Company Operations activity.
- Arrange your own meetings.
- Negotiate the sale (price, costs, delivery, and specifications).
- Effectively interact with the Operations team & Account Managers.
- Maintain sales pipeline using CRM software.
- Maintain a monthly personal sales activity plan.

**The Sales Representative role Requirements**:

- MUST have proven sales experience.
- Must have a strong track record in sales.
- MUST have UK sales experience.
- MUST have a driver’s license.

- Built in perseverance and determination.

**You will be at a distinct advantage if you have experience in the following areas**:

- Pallet network sales
- UK haulage sales
- Irish network sales

**Salary**: dependent on experience
