**Job Overview**:
The Systems Engineering group design System IP to manage, debug, and trace data across components of a chip, and integrate this IP with the latest Arm processors to also design systems. Our customers can also configure this IP for their needs using IP Tooling software. Arm also provides from software models to test chips on demonstration boards to our software ecosystem for enablement prior to the chips being taped out to silicon.

Our Systems Technical Communications team generate the content that goes with the System IP and system solutions, including system architecture specifications, manuals, user assistance, and so much more This team is one of many in the Tech Comms group who generate content, provide tailored Tech Comms infrastructure tools, digital and content services, content toolkits, editorial, and instructional design services - an ever-growing array of content and services to meet the users' needs.

As Staff Information Developer, you will be a senior core member of the team, lead in the planning and generation of content for Systems projects. As a people lead, you'll be crafting both your personal development and the development of others in the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, build, and maintain user-centric technical content that complements the content sets of a product and compatible solutions.
- Improve the clarity and consistency of content targeted for a global audience.
- Be a customer and a content advocate.
- Work with other Tech Comms colleagues and the wider Arm community to improve what Systems Tech Comms does and how we work.
- Lead one or more Information Developers, including program co-ordination of the associated content projects of those people.
- Innovate in an authoring or related area to improve the group's efficiency.

- Experienced information developer, writing for global audiences and user needs.
- Good knowledge of industry standard tools and technologies, with the ability to learn and adapt.

**“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience**:
You should have a good degree or post-graduate qualification in a related area. For example:

- Computer science, Physics, or Maths
- English, Linguistics, or Law

We use different toolchains and an evolving shift-left approach, auto generating content from Engineering source. Do you have any exposure to:

- Markdown or reStructuredText
- Jenkins
- DITA
- JSON or YAML
- Python

Being familiar with electronics is an advantage because of the domain in which Arm works. Understanding computer architecture and how hardware and software interacts is a good start.

You will need many of these skills and experiences to do the job, and a strong curiosity about learning the rest.
