**About the Head of Strategic Partnerships Role**

Reporting to the UK Managing Director, the Head of Strategic Partnerships has overall accountability for defining and delivering the financial services expansion strategy at Bink. This role has both account management and business development responsibilities, working with our existing Tier 1 banks and global payment scheme partners, whilst developing partnerships with new ecosystem players to drive growth.

The Head of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for ensuring the commercial success of Bink’s capability within digital bank channels, driving user take-up and engagement, and managing merchant distribution through Bank partners.

**What You’ll Be Doing as a Head of Strategic Partnerships**
- Partner Management: Cultivate long-lasting and trusting relationships with key stakeholders at our strategic FS partners, including Tier 1 banks and global payment schemes (Visa, MasterCard, Amex). Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at working and senior/executive levels, working to continually deepen the partnership and identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Work with partners and internal Product teams to create and manage a joint product roadmap. Identify and prioritise roadmap items to improve the customer experience and track the impact of deliverables.
- Manage a team of Programme Manager and Technical Account Managers to support key strategic accounts and deliver against an ambitious product roadmap.
- **Business Development**:Identify, generate, and manage new business opportunities through to completion. Lead on commercial negotiations and terms with potential partners and senior executives.
- Commercial lead for the development of new products and propositions with accountability for the go-to-market strategy. Responsible for developing the commercial and pricing model for emerging partnerships, working closely with Product and technical teams to deliver.
- Merchant Support: Lead communications between bank partners and the Bink Retail Sales teams to secure partner support on analytics and promotional activity for new merchant launches and ongoing activity.
- Responsible for the management of merchant distribution through key strategic partners, including Barclays and Lloyds Banking Group.
- Contracting: Responsibility for the commercial and contractual relationships with key partners, including both ongoing and potential initiatives, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and identifying growth opportunities.

**Requirements for the Head of Strategic Partnerships**
- 7+ years’ experience in commercial and/or strategic roles, ideally in fast-paced environments
- Proven success building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience in closing deals in B2B sales, preferably from a loyalty, financial, retail, payments or FinTech sector
- Track record on Business Development, commercial sales, and/or large account management
- Numerate and analytical - experience with taking a data-driven approach to decision making
- Strong PowerPoint skills - able to lay out information in a clear and compelling way
- Highly collaborative/team-focussed demeanour - generating authentic followership
- Experience working cross-functionally to achieve commercial (and business) goals and seeing projects through from ideation to implementation
- Adaptable and resilient - able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in an ambiguous environment
- Natural flair for proactivity and accountability - taking responsibility for making things happen
