Here at S & W Independent living in Buxton, we are looking for people to join our friendly, family run, team of domiciliary carers. We provide support to people living in their own homes which includes; preparing meals, prompting medication, personal care and shopping calls.

This is an ideal opportunity to get experience if you’re thinking of studying healthcare/ nursing / medicine/ social work in the future. The role suits someone who wants regular hours whom may require either set or flexible working days.

What we can offer:

- Full time/Part time positions with flexible hours to suit you.
- Rates starting from £12.25 up to £13.75 per hour
- Additional £5 travel allowance per shift.
- Well planned shifts / service user calls organised in geographical areas (only covering Buxton).
- On going specialist training provided to assist complex service users.
- We provide a full 12 week induction inclusive of obtaining the Care Certificate.
- Opportunity to complete NVQ Level 2+3.
- Annual leave accrued on a pro-rata basis.

What you need:

- Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
- To be honest, reliable and kind.
- To work professionally with our service users and staff.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.25-£13.75 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 48 per week
