- Teach and support students by adopting a learner-centred approach, delivering a first-class student experience.
- Undertake research, professional practice and enterprise activity as outlined within the BNU Academic Framework
- Be a team-player and contribute to the wider work of the School and University
- Practice an inclusive approach and support building an inclusive university community where people can be themselves

**Main Duties & Responsibilities of the role**:
**Education**:

- Undertake associated activities in connection with the courses taught including personal tutoring; student recruitment; assessment, review and evaluation.
- Achieve student satisfaction - demonstrating a commitment to ‘customer focus’ and contributing to the achievement of strong NSS results.
- Demonstrate inclusive practice in curriculum design and delivery. Work to eliminate attainment gaps.
- Contribute to Open Days, school, college and partnership links and the marketing and promotional work of the Department and/or School.
- Support students in supervising placements, learning in practice, internships and work-related activities.
- Deliver pastoral care to, and project supervision of, students.
- Plan and deliver the curriculum using appropriate media, including the use of Digital technologies.
- Provide effective feedback, support and guidance to students, which promotes improvement of performance.
