Buckinghamshire New University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Lecturer in Law to join our School of Business and Law. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, conducting research, and contributing to the development of our Law programme.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach and assess students on our undergraduate and postgraduate Law programmes
- Contribute to the development and leadership of our Law programme, including curriculum design and delivery
- Undertake research and scholarly activity, generating income and aligning research with teaching and learning to enhance student outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote teaching and learning and research in a professional context
- Engage in effective doctoral supervision and develop early career research
- PhD in Law or a related field
- Recognised HE teaching qualification and/or Fellow by Advance HE or evidenced commitment to achieving within two years
- Expert knowledge and research in Law
- Track record of delivering quality learning and teaching to students/learners achieving excellent student outcomes
- Evidence as an active researcher and delivery of high-quality research and scholarship
- A generous holiday entitlement (35 days per annum, plus bank holidays & closure days)
