Teaching Coordinator

The Physics Department at Lancaster University is seeking to appoint a full time Teaching Coordinator. As part of the Student Programmes Team, the role holder will support the delivery and administration of Undergraduate student programmes and the student experience. The Student Programmes team, led by the Student Programmes Officer, provide support to staff and students across all Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes within the Department. Within the Team, Coordinators are each assigned lead (or core) responsibility for specific programmes or year groups whilst being able to assist across the whole provision as required.

ABOUT YOU
You will:
- Have experience of providing a high level of customer service.
- Have the ability to prioritise workload to meet competing deadlines, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Be able to present information accurately and communicate effectually with a wide range of people.
- Be able to demonstrate competent IT skills and the ability to work with new systems and software in an evolving digital environment.

Physics is a busy teaching and research active Department. It is home to a friendly group of around 58 Academic staff, with teams of Research and Professional Services (Administrative and Technical staff). The Department supports Undergraduate students and a thriving group of Masters and Postgraduate research students; with a wide range of research projects.
