This is a relatively new post designed to assist with service delivery within the GI Unit. The new appointee will undertake general and emergency gastroenterology duties including care of inpatients, cover of specialty referrals and support for procedures e.g ascitic drains, GI bleeds etc.

Salisbury provides a comprehensive general urology service but there are also excellent opportunities for subspecialist training in female/spinal injury/reconstructive urology. This post offers dedicated 1:1 teaching in outpatients, theatres and endoscopy. The on-call commitments are less than 1 weekend per month (supported by the on-call consultant).
